Hi y’all, just wanted to share something that’s been working wonders for my two kiddos. Both are ND but one with ADHD and the other with sensory issues. Bedtime used to be a real struggle. It felt like I was fighting a losing battle every night.
I changed a few things, and the difference has been amazing. We made bedtime quieter with no screens for an hour before, a simple story and a little lavender oil in a diffuser. It took some getting used to but now they’re calmer and falling asleep easier.
I’ve also been working with a herbalist who suggested some supplements like omega-3s and magnesium, and I’ve been sneaking those into their smoothies. Plus, I’ve started cutting back on processed snacks and adding more fresh foods to their meals.
It’s not a magic fix, but it’s made things a whole lot easier. They’re sleeping better, and mornings are less chaotic. Just wanted to share in case anyone else is feeling stuck it’s been worth the effort for us.
